471 reasons to celebrate: Your new parkade opens November 10

We’re excited to share that the new UHNBC parkade will open for use at 6:00am on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Located next to the BC Cancer Centre for the North, this modern facility offers 471 parking spaces along with two elevators to improve accessibility for staff, patients, and visitors.

The new parkade is more than just a place to park, it’s a major step forward in improving access to care and creating a smoother, more welcoming arrival experience at UHNBC. As one of the early milestones in the Acute Care Tower project, it reflects our commitment to strengthening hospital infrastructure and enhancing the overall care environment.

Parking will be managed by Impark, using the same payment system already in place across the UHNBC campus.

Please note: If you choose to park in the new parkade, please use the hospital’s front entrance. Over the next few years, construction will occur in multiple phases, and pedestrian routes for patients and visitors may change frequently. Signage will be updated regularly to help guide people safely and efficiently.
